About us Member of WFD, IFHOH/EFHOH and a prospective member of EUD. Affiliated to the National Federation of Associations of Persons with Disabilities. The Association works in close co-operation with pertinent Ministries and other bodies of the Government of Croatia, through several projects and programs of national interest. The representative of the Association is a member of Government Commission for Persons with Disabilities. The Association is an active participant in all legislative and political initiatives and actions on behalf of persons with disabilities. It takes part in the conferences and symposiums in this area. It supplies specific information on the European and international policies regarding the deaf and hard of hearing through by translating and publishing important laws and documentation. The Association is active in the study of Croatian sign language, preparing literature and dictionaries on the subject, organizing seminaries and courses of sign language. However, along with the fight for the right of the deaf to use sign language, it promotes their right to learn and use the national verbal language. Statute of the CADHoH can be found here.
